Northern Rivers Mould Removal is a lead-generation website for mould remediation enquiries across Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore, Lennox Head, Bangalow, Mullumbimby, Murwillumbah, Casino, and the wider Northern Rivers region. It is operated by Mark A Jeanes (ABN 11 229 027 126), who is not a contractor and does not perform any of the work. We are looking to partner with a small number of established, IICRC-certified mould remediation contractors to receive these enquiries on an exclusive territory basis.
This is not a lead auction. We don’t sell the same enquiry to five different contractors. The model is simple: one qualified partner per territory, enquiries referred directly, and a referral structure agreed in writing before anything flows.
Straight answers about where the service is up to: the site is newly built, its search visibility is growing, and we won’t quote you enquiry volumes we can’t evidence. What we can show you is the machinery.
How the Machinery Works
Capture. Every enquiry arrives through the site’s quote forms and lands in a secure lead store with its source page recorded, so you can see which suburb and which service page produced it.
Spam screening. Automatic spam scoring separates real enquiries from bot noise before anything is passed on. You would receive human enquiries, not form spam.
Personal review. The operator reads every real enquiry himself. A watchdog escalates any unactioned enquiry to his phone after about ten minutes, so nothing sits unseen in an inbox.
Exclusive referral. A qualified enquiry for your territory goes to you and nobody else. Homeowners are told on every page of the site that their enquiry may be referred to one independent contractor who quotes and contracts with them directly.
Free while the service is proven. The referral fee is currently $0 per accepted lead while the service establishes itself. The structure is agreed upfront and reviewed periodically; no surprises, nothing owed for leads you don’t accept.
Who We’re Looking For
We have a single, non-negotiable requirement: current IICRC S520 certification.
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification S520 standard is the recognised benchmark for professional mould remediation practice. This site tells homeowners to ask their remediator for current IICRC S520 credentials, and that standard extends to every contractor who takes our referrals.
Beyond certification, we’re looking for contractors who:
Are genuinely based in or regularly operating in the Northern Rivers region. We’re not interested in a Byron Bay postcode on a Gold Coast van. The people enquiring are local; our partner should know the roads, the building stock, and the conditions.
Respond promptly to referred enquiries. Mould is an urgent problem, and the referral model only works if a homeowner hears from you quickly once an enquiry is passed on.
Have capacity for residential remediation work. The site’s content covers everything from bathroom ceilings to post-flood wall cavity remediation, pre-sale clearances, and insurance-supported claims, and enquiries can arrive from any of it.
Carry appropriate insurance. Public liability and professional indemnity coverage is essential. We’ll ask for a certificate of currency.
Can provide written scopes and professional documentation. The site promises homeowners written quotes, inspection reports, and completion documentation from whoever does the work. If you operate on verbal quotes and handshakes, we’re not the right fit.
What the Partnership Looks Like
Exclusive territory. Each partner receives an exclusive suburb or area allocation. We don’t forward the same enquiry to multiple operators. If you’re the partner for Byron Bay and Lennox Head, those enquiries come to you.
Direct relationship with the client. Jobs that come through our referrals are delivered under your own business name and licence, with your own quotes, contracts and invoices, professional presentation, IICRC credentials visible, and written documentation the client can rely on. We are the referrer; you are the contractor, and the homeowner should be in no doubt about that.
Consent before anything is published. Nothing about your business appears on the site without your written consent. If we agree to name you as the referral partner, your business name and credentials appear accurately and only as agreed.
Referral structure in writing. A straightforward referral fee arrangement, agreed upfront and reviewed periodically, currently free while the service is being proven.
